Lighting design for Kyritz Monastery District – one place, many lighting solutions
Individual lighting design for libraries, museums, event buildings and monastery gardens
In the Kyritz monastery district, history, education, and culture converge—and with them, very different lighting requirements. A holistic lighting concept was developed for the library, the museum, the new event building, and the historic 13th-century monastery garden—with finely coordinated effects, technology, and design.
A tailor-made lighting system was developed for all areas, which can be used modularly and architecturally. It includes recessed and surface-mounted ceiling luminaires, track systems with spotlights, pendant luminaires, table and floor lamps, wall luminaires, and bollard lights for outdoor areas.
In the library, glare-free lighting ensures a pleasant reading environment. In the museum, we showcase exhibits with accentuated, conservation-friendly lighting. The new event building will feature a flexible, controllable lighting solution for a variety of usage scenarios. The monastery garden will be enhanced with discreet, directional lighting.
The uniformly developed lighting system combines the design and functional diversity of the individual locations – in technology, lighting effect and appearance.
A project in which architecture, history and light merge into an overall picture.
