BAUHAUS MUSEUM WEIMAR
Lighting design and exclusive special luminaires for the Bauhaus Museum Weimar
To mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Bauhaus, the Bauhaus Museum Weimar was rebuilt as a central place for commemoration and engagement with modernism. Over 536 architectural firms participated in the international competition; the design by the Berlin-based firm Atelier Heike Hanada was realized.
Our lighting solution
A holistic concept for architecture, conservation and museum practice
For this extraordinary project, Fischer & Partner developed the entire lighting concept as well as tailor-made lighting systems – tailored to the architectural specifications, conservation requirements and museum use.
Special feature: All lights were developed and manufactured exclusively for this project. This resulted in unique, custom-made lights that are only available in this form at the Bauhaus Museum Weimar.
Elements of lighting design
