BAROCKHAUS GÖRLITZ

Lighting design in the Görlitz Baroque House – tailor-made lighting solutions for a listed work of art

For the Görlitz Baroque House, we developed a finely tuned lighting concept that preserves the building's historic character while simultaneously enabling a modern presentation of the exhibits. In close collaboration with the monument conservationists, architects, and exhibition designers, we created a lighting system that highlights both architectural details and museum content.

Our planning focus was on combining design excellence with technical precision: From the development of special lighting designs and tailor-made display case lighting to the finely tuned accentuation of individual exhibits, every element was individually planned and implemented. Lighting not only enhances the spatial effect but also contributes significantly to visitor guidance and the atmosphere of the exhibition.

The particular challenge was to find lighting solutions that would integrate harmoniously into the baroque building structure without visibly dominating it – with sensitive technology and reduced design.
