MERCEDES BENZ SALZUFER
Modernization of the Mercedes-Benz World at Salzufer Berlin – Architecture, light and brand space in harmony
As part of a comprehensive redesign, the Mercedes-Benz World on the Salzufer in Berlin was modernized and restructured. The project encompassed the sales areas, restaurant zones, and car handover areas – with the goal of creating a contemporary, high-quality, and brand-typical experience.
At the heart of the design concept is a subtle, minimalist lighting design that blends seamlessly with the architecture while simultaneously highlighting its quality. The lighting concept we developed creates a calm, timeless lighting atmosphere in which the vehicle and the space are the focus – not the light as an effect.
The lighting has an architectural effect; it shapes volumes, guides the eye, and enhances materials, surfaces, and lines. Technically precise and visually restrained, light is understood here as an integral component of the interior design—as a silent stage for brand, movement, and design.
