Lighting design for Lietzenburger Straße apartment – light, architecture and atmosphere in timeless balance

In an exclusive apartment on Lietzenburger Straße, a lighting concept was developed by Thomas Becker and Bettina Kraus, architects in Berlin, that subtly complements the unique architecture and creates a harmonious atmosphere. The clean, minimalist design language of the interior spaces forms the basis for a lighting system that blends discreetly into the design – technically precise, aesthetically calm.

Indirectly guided light lines create uniform ambient lighting that softly shapes the spatial structures without being overly obtrusive. The concept is complemented by minimalist pendant luminaires and spotlights with a timeless design that accentuate specific zones – with functional and visual differentiation.

A special element is the extensive backlighting of natural motifs in the hallway area, which creates a daylight-like atmosphere and lends the access space a friendly, almost meditative depth.

The result is a lighting concept that not only accompanies architecture but also enhances its effect – reduced, modern and full of quiet elegance.
