Lighting development ak.tina – LED series for sophisticated showcase lighting (Hoffmeister)

In collaboration with Hoffmeister, we developed the Actina LED luminaire series, specifically designed for precise and conservation-safe illumination of museum and exhibition display cases. The series was designed with the goal of combining the highest light quality, minimal heat generation, and flexible integration into a wide variety of display case systems.

Actina is based on a modular system that can be precisely adapted to a variety of exhibition situations – from delicate recessed luminaires to directional spotlight modules with various light distributions and color temperatures. The luminaires are glare-free, low-maintenance, and enable targeted object highlighting while protecting delicate exhibits such as textiles, parchment, or painted wood.

In addition to technical performance, the focus was also on design: slim housings, minimalist design, and unobtrusive mounting options ensure that the technology fades into the background, allowing the object to shine in the light. The Actina series is a professional tool for museums, galleries, and exhibition designers that meets the highest standards of light control and protection.
