Lighting design for the Bambi Awards

2001–2010 – Stage, Gala, Aftershow

Between 2001 and 2010, we were responsible for the lighting planning for several editions of the renowned Bambi Awards – one of the most important media events in Germany. In addition to the technical lighting planning for the stage, auditorium, and architecture, our focus was particularly on the design of the exclusive after-show parties.

For the gala evenings themselves, we developed dramatic lighting concepts that combined camera-ready glamour and event impact. Modern lighting systems, flexible control systems, and custom-designed accent lights were used to create the atmosphere of the space without disrupting the TV production.

The after-show parties presented a particular challenge: temporary club settings, variable lighting moods, high-quality ambient lighting, and precise lighting control for live acts, dance floors, and lounge areas. Here, too, we placed the highest priority on visual impact, energy-efficient technology, and perfect integration into the respective spatial and scene concepts.

Our lighting design was an invisible director in the background – responsible for mood, perception and the perfect interplay of space, people and moment.
